KennedyFoundation.Net, Inc. Receives $3,000

Annual Domestic Violence Empowerment Summit 2011

"Head Over Heels" ~ Empowered and Glamorous!

Funding Will Support Seminars That Strengthen Individuals and Families

MITCHELLVILLE, Md. – KennedyFoundation.Net will help empower and educate victims of domestic violence through an “Annual Domestic Violence Empowerment Summit”, thanks to a $3,000 grant offered through the local Macy’s District Grants Committee, by Joe Vella, Director, Corporate Giving, Macy’s Inc., Atlanta, GA.

Joe Vella’s quote:  "We wish you much success with your important work and are proud to be counted among your supporters."

The Annual Domestic Violence Summit 2011 will offer resources, advice, testimonies, encouragement and empowerment while restoring hope and providing an educational scholarship to those who have suffered through domestic violence and are looking forward to a better life.

Victims of domestic violence often remain in abusive relationships because they don’t feel they have the emotional and mental strength to leave,” said Stephanie K. Page, president and CEO of KennedyFoundation.Net.

“Our empowerment workshops and spiritual seminars help motivate victims to make better choices for their lives.”

“Our seminars and workshops will help develop victims’ own beliefs of self worth, they will be inspired to know their value and expect the respect and love they deserve,” Page added.  “We will impart positive thoughts and information to serve the spirit, mind and body.”

KennedyFoundation.Net, Inc. Receives $4,000
Verizon Foundation Grant to Empower and Educate Victims of Domestic Violence

Funding Will Support Seminars That Strengthen Individuals and Families

MITCHELLVILLE, Md. – KennedyFoundation.Net will help empower and educate victims of domestic violence through executive seminars that strengthen individuals and families, thanks to a $4,000 grant from the Verizon Foundation – the philanthropic arm of Verizon Communications.

The Empowerment and Education Program will offer resources, advice, testimonies, encouragement and empowerment while restoring hope and providing an educational scholarship to those who have suffered through domestic violence and are looking forward to a better life.

“Victims of domestic violence often remain in abusive relationships because they don’t feel they have the emotional and mental strength to leave,” said Stephanie K. Page, president and CEO of KennedyFoundation.Net.  “Our empowerment workshops and spiritual seminars help motivate victims to make better choices for their lives.

“Our seminars and workshops will help develop victims’ own beliefs of self worth, they will be inspired to know their value and expect the respect and love they deserve,” Page added.  “We will impart positive thoughts and information to serve the spirit, mind and body.”

William R. Roberts, president of Verizon in Maryland and Washington, D.C., said “Raising awareness about domestic violence and aiding in its prevention is one of Verizon’s key goals.  Domestic violence touches every segment of society.  And, while the problem is universal, the solutions are not.”

Domestic violence is a national epidemic.  It has no religious, political, economical, race, color, age, gender or social boundaries.  It knows no boundaries.

“If we help even one victim regain their safety, peace of mind, quality of life, and human rights, we have satisfied our mission,” said Page.

Phyllis Kennedy Brown, Author

What is ‘seen’ often is not the reality.

There is more to see than what meets the eye.  She is sure to give God all the Glory!  You will be blessed by her testimonies of how God brought her through sexual abuse as a child; disobedience; domestic violence; divorce; single parenthood; breast cancer; and more!  Cry, laugh, and praise God with her.  When you see yourself somewhere among her shared experiences, hope rises in you knowing that God is not a respecter of persons and will bring you through too!  She anticipates personally ascribing your purchased copy at this event!
